We hold a high standard so clients can trust the professionals entering their homes — and so every House Ritual visit feels safe, structured and professional.

Here's what you'll need before you can accept bookings.

• Right to work in the UK

  We'll verify that you have the right to work in the UK using the appropriate document or verification method.

• Self-employed status

  Home Professionals work independently through House Ritual and are responsible for their own tax and National Insurance. If you're just getting started, we'll point you towards guidance.

• Public liability insurance

  You'll need appropriate public liability cover before you can accept House Ritual bookings.

• Proof of address

  We'll ask you to verify the home address connected to your professional account.

• References

  Contact details for at least two people who can comment on your reliability, professionalism and suitability for working in clients' homes.

• Interview

  A short conversation with the House Ritual team before your profile is approved.

• Travel to bookings

  You'll need a reliable way to travel to the jobs you choose to accept.
